Caroline Montague Recognized as Outstanding Youth Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year

Pulaski Academy senior Caroline Montague has been named the Outstanding Youth Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Arkansas Chapter. She received the honor at the organization’s Festival of Philanthropy after being nominated by the Methodist Family Health Foundation for her work through her nonprofit, Gabriel’s Gift.
Montague founded Gabriel’s Gift at age 14, focusing on ensuring that teens in foster care received Christmas gifts—an age group often overlooked in traditional holiday donation efforts. Since then, the organization has expanded its reach and sustainability through initiatives such as letter-writing campaigns, pop-up thrift events, and community pickleball tournaments.
Her commitment to service and her ability to mobilize support for vulnerable youth have earned recognition across the state. Montague’s work continues to reflect the values of leadership and empathy embraced within the Pulaski Academy community.
