7th, 8th Grade Artwork on Exhibit

The artwork of 7th and 8th grade students is on display this week in Peeples Gallery in the Upper School. Artwork in a variety of mediums, includings ceramics and portraits made from cardboard and torn paper, are featured. A unique project, students created "softies" which were hand sewn and stuffed by the students. "The purpose of this project was to introduce the students to a world of craft and how it is also a way to create a piece of art," said Lisa Krannichfeld, Middle School art teacher. "For many of them, it was their first time learning how to sew."
Congratulations to our Middle School art students on a fabulous art show this week. If you did not get a chance to view the art, click the "play" button below to view photos.
