7th, 8th Grade Artwork on Exhibit
The artwork of 7th and 8th grade students is on display this week in Peeples Gallery in the Upper School. Artwork in a variety of mediums, includings ceramics and portraits made from cardboard and torn paper, are featured. A unique project, students created "softies" which were hand sewn and stuffed by the students. "The purpose of this project was to introduce the students to a world of craft and how it is also a way to create a piece of art," said Lisa Krannichfeld
, Middle School art teacher. "For many of them, it was their first time learning how to sew."
Congratulations to our Middle School art students on a fabulous art show this week. If you did not get a chance to view the art, click the "play" button below to view photos.
