Pulaski Academy Tuition Raffle Rules

  • There will be two winners of the raffle. Each winner may choose between a $5,000 credit towards tuition (based on the stated tuition schedule) for one current student at Pulaski Academy or a $2,000 cash prize. The winning tickets will be drawn at the Bruin Bash Auction.

  • Tickets are $20 each. A book of 6 tickets may be purchased for $100. Winning ticket holders do not need to be present at time of drawing to win. Winner will be notified by phone and/or e-mail. There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased. Purchasers must be 21 years of age. All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. Receipt of raffle benefits may have tax implications. Please consult your tax advisor.

  • Members of the staff, faculty, volunteers, supporters, friends, and members of the Pulaski Academy community may, at their discretion, participate in this raffle. Senior Staff, division heads (and all members of the Academic Team), advancement office personnel, trustees, and auction leadership volunteers are ineligible to participate in the raffle.

  • Winning the raffle does not influence or affect any admission decision at PA. The student for whom the tuition credit is received must be a current or accepted PA student in good standing. With the exception of family members or relatives, the tuition credit is non-transferrable. Prize does not include any additional costs such as building fee, activity fees, book fees, or other charges.

  • The winner may choose to donate proceeds back to the Auction, which benefits PA’s endowment fund. Please note that proceeds from this raffle are intended to benefit Pulaski Academy’s endowment fund, which is not the same as a gift to the Annual Fund. Please also participate in Annual Fund to support PA.

  • PA will not reduce a family’s financial assistance or impact its eligibility for future financial assistance by virtue of winning this raffle. Financial assistance recipients for one child will accept the tuition credit for that child for the next school year, and if financial assistance and the raffle proceeds total more than tuition, the excess amount will revert to the financial assistance pool. Financial Assistance recipients with multiple children at PA will designate one child to receive the tuition credit coming school year, and if financial assistance and the raffle proceeds total more than tuition for that child, the excess amount will revert to the financial assistance pool. Families receiving Financial Assistance are ineligible to receive the cash prize.

  • Malone, Connor, Lindell, Riggan PA COR Scholarship recipients are ineligible to receive raffle benefits. Although those involved in the pre-paid tuition program are ineligible for the tuition credit, they are eligible to receive the cash prize.

  • By participating in this raffle, each participant releases Pulaski Academy and any related entities, employees, agents, or officers from any liability, losses, or damages of any kind incurred or caused by participating in the raffle or accepting a prize. Pulaski Academy reserves the right to make changes to the structure of this event.

  • In the event a dispute or question should arise regarding the application of proceeds of this raffle, the interpretation and decision of the PA President and Head of School, in his sole discretion, shall govern. Raffle participant acknowledges this waiver of any right he might otherwise have under law.
There will be no refunds issued for any reason, including inclement weather, unforeseeable cancellations by either party, acts of God, etc., on purchases or winning bids for auction items, or registration for golf teams.
