Summer Day Camp FAQ

  • Q. What is the registration fee?

    A non-refundable $50 registration fee for Day Camp and/or a $6 fee for Classes is due at the end of the registration process and is payable via credit card only.

    Each camper will receive a summer camp t-shirt!
  • Q. What are the camp hours and session fees?

    Fees for the Day Camp are $18 per session (7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.) or $36.00 for full day (7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)
    PA will not prorate session fees for partial stays. Payment is due on Monday of each week. Please indicate the child’s name on the check to ensure that we issue credit to the proper account.
  • Q. What late fees apply?

    A $5.00 per minute late charge per child will be assessed for any students not picked up by 5:30 pm. No exceptions!
  • Q. Are there any special instructions or requirements for preK and K age children?

    The children in the 3-year-old, 4-year-old, and kindergarten classes will have a rest time each day from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. You may send a beach towel or blanket for your child to use at rest time.
  • Q. What about lunches and snacks?

    Hot lunches are availabe through Bennett's Catering on the PA campus.

    Students may bring a lunch and morning and afternoon snack each day.
  • Q. What if my Day Camp child is attending a Summer at the Academy course?

    We will provide transportation for day campers attending classes held off-campus. For those campers attending classes on campus, a Summer at the Academy staff member will escort them to and from their class.
Summer at the Academy is a unique and exciting learning opportunity for preschoolers through young adults. Through participation in one or more of the many available classes, students can grow intellectually, physically, creatively, and socially. And the fun takes place all summer long!

Summer at the Academy includes Day Camp (half-day or or all day care), Specialty Classes (fun classes that can be taken in conjunction with Day Camp or separately), and Middle School University (day program and special classes for Middle School students).
