  • 5th Grade Ozark Trip

The 5th grade class will have the opportunity to immerse themselves on a day trip to the beautiful Ozark Mountain region of Arkansas.  They will experience the traditions and way of life as they listen to stories of the Ozark Folk Center's artisans and will also enjoy the opportunity to have hands-on experience by creating their own fun pioneer crafts.  Students will not forget this area after the expert-led exploration of Blanchard Springs Cavern where they will enter a "living" cave where formations like stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and flowstones can be found. Students will return home bringing back a little piece of the past and an abundance of new memories with their classmates.
