7th Grade Dallas Trip

Deep in the heart of Texas in mid-April, Pulaski Academy seventh-graders and teachers experience Destination Dallas, a trip that has been a beloved middle-school tradition since 1994. Learning opportunities are plentiful on the Dallas trip, as students explore the leadership and legacy of President John F. Kennedy at Sixth Floor Museum, appreciate the beauty of nature at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, and enjoy a hands-on approach to learning at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. During their time in the Lone Star State, students experience true Texas culture with a visit to historic Fort Worth, where they watch a cattle drive in the Stockyards, learn about the west at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame Museum, and kick up their heels during a country line dance lesson at Billy Bob’s Texas. Each year during Destination Dallas, the seventh-grade students and teachers celebrate the end of a fabulous year of learning and create memories that last a lifetime!
