Thank you for visiting our MS page. We are excited to tell you about our school and the goals for our students.  In the Middle School, our nurturing faculty inspires and encourages our students to:
  • explore and accept new academic challenges
  • use their knowledge and talents to express their creativity and solve problems
  • contribute to school and community life as leaders and members of teams, clubs, student productions and concerts
  • identify and understand how  to use technology to acquire and share ideas and information

  • be part of a close-knit community where the core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, and excellence have real meaning
We believe these skills and the balance of academics and arts prepare our students for high school and college as well as real world experiences. Our goal is to help your student evolve into a self-directed, inquisitive learner with respect for the ideas and feelings of others.

Middle School Travel Experiences

  • 5th Grade Ozark Trip

    The 5th grade class will have the opportunity to immerse themselves on a day trip to the beautiful Ozark Mountain region of Arkansas.  They will experience the traditions and way of life as they listen to stories of the Ozark Folk Center's artisans and will also enjoy the opportunity to have hands-on experience by creating their own fun pioneer crafts.  Students will not forget this area after the expert-led exploration of Blanchard Springs Cavern where they will enter a "living" cave where formations like stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and flowstones can be found. Students will return home bringing back a little piece of the past and an abundance of new memories with their classmates.

  • 7th Grade Dallas Trip

    Deep in the heart of Texas in mid-April, Pulaski Academy seventh-graders and teachers experience Destination Dallas, a trip that has been a beloved middle-school tradition since 1994. Learning opportunities are plentiful on the Dallas trip, as students explore the leadership and legacy of President John F. Kennedy at Sixth Floor Museum, appreciate the beauty of nature at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, and enjoy a hands-on approach to learning at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. During their time in the Lone Star State, students experience true Texas culture with a visit to historic Fort Worth, where they watch a cattle drive in the Stockyards, learn about the west at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame Museum, and kick up their heels during a country line dance lesson at Billy Bob’s Texas. Each year during Destination Dallas, the seventh-grade students and teachers celebrate the end of a fabulous year of learning and create memories that last a lifetime!
     
  • 8th Grade Trip to St. Louis

    This trip includes a lot of fun and exciting educational activities; We will enjoy a Cardinals baseball game, explore at the interactive City Museum, discover the "Gateway to the Past" at the Arch and the Museum of Westward expansion, tour the Old Courthouse, which is the site of the famous Dred Scott slavery trial, take a sightseeing riverboat cruise to learn about landmarks, architecture, and the rich history of St. Louis, and visit the St. Louis Zoo, ranked 2nd best zoo in the nation!
