|Junior Teams Take 3 of 4 from Watson Chapel|

The Jr. High and 7th Grade boys’ and girls’ basketball teams played Watson Chapel at home on Monday, Dec. 5. For the boys, Lawson Korita led the Junior High team to a 51-40 victory with an impressive 25 points. Zack Fryxell also had a solid game, putting up 11 points.
The 7th grade boys’ team tied the Wildcats at 22 early in the 4th quarter, but Watson Chapel pulled away to win 32-24. Trey Cox led the team, scoring three baskets outside the arc. Cox was aided by Cameron Blann with 6 points.
The girls’ teams were both able to pull out strong wins last night. The junior high team won 38-25, with scoring spread evenly between players. Bailey Byrne, Taylor Colquitt, and Joy Porter each scored 14, 10, and 10 points, respectively.
The 7th grade girls’ team won with authority, pulling out a final score of 32-6. Scoring was also spread evenly between several players. Watson Chapel was only allowed one basket in the second half.
